Big news for Amazon FBA sellers: Starting January 1, 2026, Amazon will discontinue its labeling and prep services for all US-bound FBA inventory. If you’ve relied on Amazon for labeling, bagging, or prepping your products, you’ll need a new plan—and fast.

What’s Changing?
- Date: This change takes effect January 1, 2026.
- Scope: Applies to ALL inventory sent to US FBA fulfillment centers, including AWD, AGL, Amazon SEND, and Supply Chain Portal.
- What’s Ending: No more Amazon-provided prep services (bagging, bubble wrapping, etc.) or item labeling.
- After Jan 1, 2026: Shipments arriving without proper prep/labeling risk being rejected, lost, or unreimbursed.
- Shipments Before Jan 1, 2026: If you create your shipment before the cut-off date, you’ll still get help—even if it arrives after Jan 1.
